RH designs chairs with the person using them in mind, making the sitter their central focus. This philosophy has guided their work since Rolf Holstensson founded the company in 1977 in Bodafors, Sweden, a legacy reflected in the RH name derived from Rolf’s initials.

A non-stick tilt mechanism. Unlimitedly adjustable and lockable in the desired position. We advise using the tilt with the door open to promote active seating. The angle of the backrest can be independently adjusted for support in any posture.
